HD Radio: What is it?
HD Radio is similar to FM and AM Radion, in that its free, and is broadcasted usually locally. The difference is that it broadcasts with crystal clear reception with no audio distortion, and that it has the same fidelity as digital music.
HD Radio: How does it work?
While AM and FM both broadcast in one channel, HD Radio broadcasts in 2 channels: Analog and Digital.
